This is a template page. READ THESE INSTRUCTIONS.
You are provided with this team page template with which to start the iGEM season. You may choose to personalize it to fit your team but keep the same "look." Or you may choose to take your team wiki to a different level and design your own wiki. You can find some examples HERE.
You MUST have the following information on your wiki:
  • a team description
  • project description
  • safety information (did your team take a safety training course? were you supervised in the lab?)
  • team attribution (who did what part of your project?)
You may also wish to add other page such as:
  • lab notebook
  • sponsor information
  • other information
REMEMBER, keep all of your pages within your teams namespace.
Example: 2013hs.igem.org/Team:Deerfield_MA/Our_Pets

You can write a background of your team here. Give us a background of your team, the members, etc. Or tell us more about something of your choosing.

Official Team Profile

Deerfield Academy is a boarding school in western Massachusetts in the beautiful Pocumtuck Valley. The Biochemical Research class, under the guidance and instruction of Professor Ivory Hills and assistant Dr. Johnathan Chittuluru, has investigated the capabilities of E. Coli to be transformed by different plasmids with different effects. Specifically, the Synthetic Biology team has executed existing procedures with the help of BioBuilder.org, and the team looks to create its own original procedure and labs. Meet the team:

Dr. Ivory Hills --Ivory likes to spend his time with his family and researching science, somethings simultaneously.

Dr. Johnathan Chittuluru --J. Chitty has raised two dogs, Rainbow and Lollipop. He can be found on the football field...when not in the lab!

Sarah Sutphin --Sarah is not a hipster.

Hannah Insuik --Hannah is an all-star athlete-scientist who looks to continue her studies at Colby in the fall.

Sloan Damon --Sloan, a well-known procrastinator, rarely contributes meaningful scientific knowledge to the team. His ability to interface with technology is abysmal.

Nicky Rault --Self-elected team captain, Nicky maintains the smooth group dynamic while holding a safe distance from the science.
