We are from Lambert High School in Forsyth County, Georgia. We are honored to be Georgia's first high school iGEM team and we are extremely zealous to be part of this group.
Mrs. Janet Standeven, our instructor, teaches biology and environmental science at Lambert. Dr. Mark Styczynski, from Georgia Institute of Technology's Chemical Engineering Department, has sponsored and aided us in numerous methods.
The members of our iGEM team are very enthusiastic about biotechnology and molecular engineering and are glad to be presented with the opportunity to gain valuable experience in this ever-expanding bio technical field and to have been able to work in doctorate labs at the prestigious Georgia Institute of Technology being just high school students.
