The 3A Assembly kit will be sent on a rolling basis in February, when a team fulfills all the registration requirements and is approved by iGEM Headquarters.

For more information on 3-Antibiotic Assembly see the 3-Antibiotic information section on the Registry Help Pages.

This kit will allow the team to test the efficiency of its competent cells.

The Transformation Efficiency kit will be sent to teams on a rolling basis in February, when a team fulfills all the registration requirements and is approved by iGEM Headquarters. The Transformation Efficiency kit will be sent inside the 3A Assembly kit.

DNA Distribution kit

The DNA Distribution kit contains parts from the Registry of Standard Biological Parts which you can use in your project! If your project requires parts not contained in the DNA Distribution kit, you can request it anytime during the competition season.

The DNA Distribution kit will be sent to all approved iGEM High School teams in March.

In addition to the above kits, teams may have the option of purchasing an additional kit containing pipettes and pipette tips. More information about this kit will be provided in the coming weeks. If you are interested in such a kit, please let us know by sending an email to HQ (at) iGEM (dot) org.
