We developed a program in Wolfram Mathematica that simulates the growth of vein angiogenesis in soft tissue. The simulation is made in such a way that the creation of new veins is impacted by proximity to other veins, and by the size of neighbor veins. In this way, it is realistic and fairly representative of natural angiogenesis.
