:I am a 17 year old from London. iGEM is proving to be a great challenge and I am learning a lot from the competition - its great fun and introducing me to whole new areas of biology. I hope to go onto study biology or biochemistry at university. In my freetime I like to watch trashy TV serials and eat chocolate.

:A verbose 17 year-old with a stereotypically English accent who has lived in London all his life.  Enjoys reading books about almost any topic and whose early TV diet primarily consisted of an eclectic mix of David Attenborough and Monty Python.  As well as a flautist and a singer, he is a lover of all things ornithological.  In the autumn term, he delves into sport with a bit of rugby.  Partial to trips to the theatre and opera, he is fascinated with most things he encounters and, if he can, spends most of his spare time bird watching and beekeeping.  An avid follower or current affairs who is prepared to discuss pretty much anything, he is thoroughly enjoying the rigour of iGEM and the challenges it poses - even though it means spending less time bird watching, being opinionated, singing Armstrong and Miller songs a bit too loudly, eating chocolate and generally ensuring that he never endears himself to his family.

:Yet another 17-year-old budding medic from London who enjoys a normal and healthy mix of education, television, good food and plasmid restriction digestion. Guy is fascinated by all neuropsychological phenomena, for example NLP, and is an enthusiastic musician, playing both the saxophone and the cello. He has interests in areas such as drama, martial arts, volunteering, and the magnificent and sublime sport that is squash. He feels ready and willing to take on the challenge that is iGEM, and hopes that, in the midst of all the inevitable chaos, he does not lose sight of the perspective that one cannot simply play God. Or can they...?
