- We would like to thank Akram Kaveh and Lynne Montgomery, the SPS Biology Technicians, for all their hard work, particularly in preparing the competent cells and antibiotic plates and broths, and for everything else which was key to our being able to do any of this work.
- We would also like to thank our Instructor Dr Shammas and Advisor Dr Burke for their help in clarifying what we were doing at every stage, as well as explaining all of the underlying theory along the way and in particular at the beginning of the project.
- We are truly grateful to all 4 of these people for the many additional hours that they put into this project - without them, none of the practical work would have been possible, either through a lack of material resources or a lack of appropriate knowledge.
