Each team can select from either the BioBrick™ Assembly Kit (1) or the Gibson Assembly™ Cloning Kit (2), details of which are listed below:

  1. BioBrick Assembly Kit
    • E0546S: BioBrick Assembly Kit (includes 4 restriction enzymes plus T4 DNA Ligase)
    • C3019I: NEB 10-beta Competent E. coli
  2. Gibson Assembly Cloning Kit
    • E5510S: Gibson Assembly Cloning Kit (includes NEB 5-alpha Competent E. coli)


To request your materials, send an email with your team name and shipping address to: neb-offer (at) igem.org. Teams will be limited to requesting one of these two kits each. Please also note that C3019I and E5510S require storage at -80ºC, if the cells are not immediately used.
