Jackson Allen

Jackson Allen is a rising senior at the North Carolina School of Science and Mathematics from Greenville, NC. He became interested in the applications of synthetic biological systems this year and is grateful for the opportunity to participate on the NCSSM iGEM team. Jackson aspires to become a physician, but also holds a deep interest in the advancement of healthcare through research. He is currently working at the UNC Cystic Fibrosis Center to improve the viral-based delivery of a corrected gene to individuals who possess a mutation that causes Cystic Fibrosis.
